Why on earth is dad talking to himself? Crazy man!

To exclude yourself …
To exclude yourself simply make a filter. Name the filter something like My IP Filter. In the box named Filter Type select Exclude all traffic from an IP. Once this is selected an box named IP address is displayed. Just add your IP there and save the filter. Done

Ed, this is an outstanding video, especially for being only 8 minutes long. I found it super helpful to apply what you shared to reviewing my blog. I was quite surprised to discover the two sources that were sending traffic to me. It is still very small, but it proves that the social bookmarking is working.

Google Analytics is …
Google Analytics is great for in-depth traffic analysis. I also like to use Statcounter for real-time traffic information, although the free account detailed info is limited to only the most recent 500 pageviews.
